Dr. Stevie Ames Roberts was all but raised in a dental office. Her parents are both dentists in Philadelphia and practice out of their family home in a brownstone on Rittenhouse Square.
She attended the University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in the biological basis of behavior while also performing vocals and piano in a rock band. After college, she continued with music and also completed a Master of Biomedical Science in addition to her Doctorate in Dental Medicine at Tufts University in Boston. After dental school, she returned to Philly to work and continue her dental education from the best teachers around, her mom and dad, where she gained invaluable experience in all aspects of dentistry and patient care.
She met her husband, a Seattle native, while in dental school. He is currently an oral surgeon practicing in downtown Seattle at Maring & Johnson Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. When they are not talking teeth, they enjoy exploring the country in their RV trailer and spending time in the mountains and on the water as well as back east near Stevie’s childhood home. They live on a floating home on Lake Union with their rescue dog, JoJo, and their son. She also enjoys playing the piano and reading. Dr. Roberts is excited to be a part of the Kirkland community and to provide exceptional care to her patients.
